Amewu starts work, breaks ground for the construction of a state-of-the-art palace at Hohoe Zongo

Hon. John-Peter Amewu, Minister of Energy and Member of Parliament-elect (MP) for Hohoe Constituency, has broken grounds for the construction of a state-of-the-art palace for the Zongo community and their chief.

This is in fulfillment of a promise he made to the zongo community 2 days to the election, that should he be elected as Member of Parliament for Hohoe constituency, he would build an ultra modern palace for the Chief of the zongo community.

Hon. Amewu said the facility when completed, would be a two-storey with a 1,500 sitting capacity on the ground floor and offices for the chief, opinion leaders and zongo elders on the first floor.

He said the edifice would also have a stocked library and washrooms.

Mr Kwame Amenyo of the Hub Amenyo Company Limited, the construction firm of the edifice, said it would be completed within four to six month duration.
