Rastafarian students and family reacts to the court ruling

The affected students and their families were visibly relieved at the ruling by the Human Rights Court.

The two students, their families and their legal representations jubilated outside the Human Rights Court premises.

The father of Master Tyron Marhguy was happy, the laws of the country worked in his son’s favour.

Tyron Marhguy, told Court reporters, he was relieved with the final outcome of the battle.

Lawyer for Master Oheneba Nkrabea, the second student, in this case, said, this judgement will go down in the history books as one that made great impact on Ghana’s democracy.

Finally, Master Oheneba Nkrabea, said all he wants now, is to go to school and catch up with his colleagues.

According to his lawyer, Mr Wayoe Ghanamannti, now that nothing holds them back, the boys will report to school tomorrow, Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
