A pro-NPP pressure group, Alliance for FootSoldiers Advocacy, has expressed its displeasure over the delay by President Akufo-Addo in the appointment of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) as the delay has stifled local governance.

Speaking on ‘Behind the News, Executive Secretary of the Group, Daniel Adomako Takyi, said they have presented a petition to the Presidency to speed up the process to spur accelerated growth at the local level and by extension improve the party’s election fortunes and image.
